This is a little red for those with a sweeter tooth from the quirky Catching Thieves label, part of the McWilliams stable, based in the Swan Valley in Western Australia.
It has been made from 84% Shiraz, 10% Ruby Cabernet & the rest is an assortment. As the name suggests, it is medium sweet, medium bodied and is round & soft. It avoids being cloying with some refreshing acid to balance out the sweetness. Only stainless steel for this baby as oak would detract from the berry bliss.
I would recommend that you try this wine out with some excellent dark and rich satay that is unadulterated by too much coconut milk or just pour up and enjoy with friends.
