While Tasmanian can claim the purest waters in Australia and some of the coolest climates for grapes, it is rather rare to have the right climatic conditions at harvest time to produce an Iced Riesling in the traditional way. This little sweetie is produced using freeze concentration and has a nose of poached honeyed pears. It is medium sweet but balanced off by refreshing acid and lingering and rich lemon/ lime zest, honey and mandarin flavours. Great for dessert or with soft cheese.
