The Moorooduc team are maestros of Pinot in the Mornington Peninsula and this little slinky number is silky and fine after careful nurturing – low yield vines, hand picked, wild yeasts and finally no filtering in keeping with the McIntyre’s minimal intervention policy. The result is a wine that is flagrant with its firm cherry and red fruits, joined by some thyme and savoury earth characters on the palate. The finish is long and smooth. A wine that is finely integrated for drinking now.
