If you are looking for one of those small wineries that are still producing a range of handcrafted wines that after you have tasted one, you will want to taste the whole range – this is it. It is one of the jewels of the Margaret River. It still has an intimate cellar door full of smooth timber with nothing sleek & shiny about it and a gorgeous wine dog that is the colour of a Margaret River Cabernet Merlot.
This Chardonnay is one that is thoroughly modern with a lovely generous personality. It has seen oak as most fine Chardonnays do however, this languished in seasoned oak for nine months giving the wine time to round out with just subtle oak character. The stonefruit shows almost tropical ripeness wrapped in fresh acid that is natural and silky. A wine that offers a lot of pleasure for its price.
