Castle Rock Estate 2009 Sauvignon Blanc

Castle Rock 08 SBThat is Castle Rock Estate from Porongurup in the Western Australian region of Great Southern not to be confused with Castle Rock Winery in California. Not that you could confuse it for anything but Sauvignon Blanc.  A pretty, delicate and elegant Sauvignon Blanc. The aromas that greet you are predominantly nettley herbs with some quince fruit. It is dry with a creamy texture with green herbs and tropical fruit. At under $20, it is a great buy.
