Hoopla Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Hoopla is a passionate family winery in the Napa where the Hoopes family, a father and daughter combination, along with their ‘pups with personality’ make their wines with freshness and generosity all the way to their soul.  Their other wines are Napa focused, this Cabernet is more about showcasing the best of California. The family brings in fruit from the Southern Californian region of Paso Robles to add to their Napa Valley fruit.

Blackcurrant, drippingly ripe and juicy, does not hide its more herbal heritage with some raspberry leaf and vanilla spice giving structure.  On first sip, the fruity palate becomes more creamy as it that oak does its thing and then leaves you with a rich finish after that block of fresh fruit disappears.  It is an easy to love style of wine that is hard to resist after that first glass.
