Jacob’s Creek Endless Sunshine range are brightly packaged and made to be easily understood. The labels describe what will be in your glass. It is that easy.
Over the years Jacob’s Creek range has moved to focus on single varietal wines rather than classic easy to drink blends. These days, with changing tastes and changing climate conditions, some wine brands choose to remove the grape varieties from the labels completely. Instead, the labels will describe the wine inside the bottle.
With this range, only one label mentions the grape variety and that is the Sauvignon blanc. Of course, this is to appeal to those people who are reluctant to try any other grape variety. The rest of the range is instead labelled with a description designed to appeal to the sense of occasion for maximum shelf appeal. Enter: Jacob’s Creek Vibrant and Fruity White, Jacob’s Creek Zesty and Fresh Sauvignon Blanc, Jacob’s Creek Refreshing and Lively Rosé, and Jacob’s Creek Juicy & Smooth Red.
Each one though is thoroughly Australian.
Here is what to expect:

Jacob’s Creek Endless Sunshine Vibrant and Fruity White
This is a ripe and round white wine. It is dry and, as you would expect, it is fruity. Expect plenty of peach with some citrus and you will not be wrong here. I think it has some banana tropical notes too. It is a fresh drinking wine and this one does really hit the spot.

Jacob’s Creek Endless Sunshine Zesty and Fresh Sauvignon Blanc
I think this wine serves as a reminder that Australia does grow Sauvignon Blanc. Albeit most of that Sauvignon Blanc does not leave the country. This version is in the ripe tropical fruit style. It is a drier style, and with crisp acidity it has the balance to support that ripe fruit.

Jacob’s Creek Endless Sunshine Refreshing and Lively Rosé
A pale pink rosé. It is drier and lighter in body. The fruit here is fresh like early spring strawberries, peaches and maybe some guava on the finish. It is all about the fruit though. It is refreshingly crisp and fruity.

Jacob’s Creek Endless Sunshine Juicy & Smooth Red
This is a dry red wine with plenty of upfront fruit. It is unsurprisingly reminiscent of the classic Australian red blends of old. Fuller in body and spicy fruit. Blackberry, plums and some earthiness. It has soft tannins that are shapely and plush. This is a pretty irresistible combination.
These wines are currently £9.50 each
