Leconfield is one of those Coonawarra’s wineries that hide their light under a bushel. They consistently produce a fine range of wines, including an old vine Riesling that is unusual to find in the Coonawarra.   Shiraz is one of those varietals that is naturally juicy & flavourful & just perfect for bubbles. Leconfield don’t skimp on the grapes for this fizz, the grapes come from Coonawarra & the McLaren Vale from older vines which gives it lively intensity & concentration.

There is plenty of ripeness in the cherry spiciness.  The depth of flavour is further enhanced with a lick of port that just gives that extra roundness. A lovely velvety texture makes this a very seductive wine at anytime of the day.
