Who makes it?
Miradas is one of the Vermentino wines from Sardegnian producer Cantina Murales. They offer several such as the Lumenara Vermentino di Gallura (which spends one year in concrete with regular battonage). Plus the Su Soi which is a Vermentino di Sardegna DOC wine.

What does it taste like?
The Miradas Vermentino di Gallura DOCG is an elegant dry white wine. There is a light citrus peel character nestling there amongst the nectarine fruit. Unsurprisingly, it also has a dried garni bouquet herbal note and a mineral overtone that keeps the wine fresh. It is a very textural wine that has a fuller body and a satisfying length of flavour.

What to drink it with?
I would recommend seafood, most likely cooked or served with a sauce that is flavourful. Baby bbq’d octopus comes immediately to mind. Or chicken. Why not seek out some traditional Culurgiones filled with cheese and mint?
Cheese
A fresh cheese such as a goats cheese. Maybe even grilled haloumi.
Quickie review « This is a very textural Vermentino. It is probably going to be hard to find it though. »
