Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz 2017

Penfolds Shiraz

When looking for a red wine on a budget, this one is hard to go past. Particularly if you are buying it in Australia on a multi-bottle deal in one of the large chain liquor stores. Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz is made for easy drinking.

Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz has all the hallmarks of ripe shiraz. Including a bouquet of peppery, liquorice sweet combo of blackberry and raspberry fruit.  As it enters the mouth, it is full bodied with fleshy soft tannins. It finishes with juicy cranberry and blackberry flavours that last long enough to make it good drinking and good with a casual meal.
