Who makes it?
Minuty M is made by the Matton family. The Matton-Farnet family have had custodianship of the estate since 1936. They are Provencial rosé specialists although they do make red and white wines as well. The waisted curvy bottle is rather well unique and easily identifiable as a Minuty rosé.
How do they make it?
Minuty M rose is a blend depending on the vintage. Some years might be 50-60% Grenache, with various proportions of Syrah, Cinsault and it may even contain some Tibouren. The aim of this wine is to be very fresh and ‘pure’ fruited. The fruit for this wine has come from vineyards around Côtes de Provence, including Sainte Victoire.
To give the rosé that silky mouthfeel, the wine spends a short time resting on its dead yeast cells, or lees.

What does it taste like?
The M is dry (0.5 grams per litre residual sugar), and pale pink. The aromas are primarily of peach, cherries and berries. The wine is fuller bodied and has plenty of fruit weight thanks to some light tannins. It is crisp and the lingering finish is savoury and of strawberries and spiciness.
And easy wine to enjoy.
What to drink it with?
Enjoy the typical fare of salads, seafood and tartlets.
